INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
You might be coming to therapy to manage symptoms or address a specific concern. You may find yourself stuck in the same old patterns, but feel unable to change these. You may be self-aware, but are still seeking to more fully understand yourself. You may have tried therapy before, but want to go deeper. You may be hoping for growth and change, and want support for that process.
Whatever is bringing you to therapy, I will take time build a genuine connection and developing trust with you. From there we will explore the psychological, emotional, physical, social, and environmental forces that impact how you move through the world. My role is to join you on your path to living well and experiencing more connection by offering compassion, insight, guidance, and resources.
Issues that come up often in my work include trauma (developmental and relational trauma, sexual trauma), complex family dynamics, challenges in your relationships, identity exploration, professional concerns, navigating major life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
I am informed by anti-oppressive ideologies and affirm clients of all backgrounds, particularly members of LGBTQIA+ communities. I welcome non-monogamous and erotically-marginalized people and actively support all of my clients in building healthy relationships.
